DISCUSSIONS ON PROBLEMS OF MIGRANTS AND INCITING THE ETHNIC HATRED IN SOCIAL NETWORKS, BLOGS AND FORUMS

In the article the authors describe results of the research by social media monitoring service IQbuzz of the discussions in social media (social networks, blogs, forums) on the issue of high level of immigration into Russia and also on dynamics of the direct rude words towards non-Slavic nations, inciting the ethnic hatred. According to the data in the article we can see increase of temptation. The authors also give results of sociological polls in Russia on this issue. The introduction part of the article demonstrates importance of the social networks in Russia (some of the social networks have a reach of audience close to the audiences of central Russian TV channels, the level of Internet use in Russia has reached a level of 50% (and in large cities and age groups up to 45 years - significantly higher), the number of social network users in Russia reached more than 50 million citizens. Then authors give an overview of the research possibilities of social media monitoring services for the study of social problems.
