INTERACTION OF AGENCIES IN RESPONDING TO DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: AN ANALYSIS OF EXPERT ASSESSMENTS

This article analyzes the problem of interagency cooperation in the system of social protection from family violence. The author identifies the main participants of the interaction in Saratov region. The analysis is based on data from several focus groups, which involved experts working with family violence cases. As the results of the analysis author describes complexities involved in interactions of experts from different agencies. The main barrier is the strict regulation in job descriptions, and at the same time, the lack of instructions for interagency cooperation. It is noted that experts ignoring public organizations when redirecting clients. As a factor to increase efficiency, the author notes the system of informal relations between experts.
