In the article the specific study of personality in N.V. Reinhardt’s creativity, by means of the analysis his work “Unusual personality” is opened. The basic N.V. Reinhardt’s views on the individual functioning in society are considered. The N.V. Reinhardt’s work of “Unusual personality” is dedicated to the life and work of V.K. Gaines (W. Frey) and consists of two parts. In the first part of the work the letter V.K. Gaines to L.N. Tolstoy, in which he explains his social and philosophical views on the problems of the individual, society, the essence of progress, based on the positivism doctrine of Auguste Conte – is submitted.The second part of N.V. Reyngardt’s work is devoted to the life and creativity analysis to V.K. Geyns.
