This article sanctifies the impact of values on the professional work of the expert working with young people. Values are the basic element in the formation of a professional culture expert on youth work. The article presents the author’s definition of professional culture expert on youth work. Describes the value components that characterize the profession, axiological component, which is the base for the formation of a professional culture expert and helps to build a system of working with young people in accordance with the requirements of the state youth policy. The article considers the satisfaction of the conditions of his professional career. Conclusions are drawn about the problems of dissatisfaction with the work of professionals working with young people: the low level of wages. difficulties in the implementation of their abilities, problems with management. Made suggestions to improve the situation of workers, as well as a set of values defined professional specialist in youth work.
